The OMC Development Campaign is a major fundraising effort to secure the future of the Oxford Mindfulness Centre. Research grants and training courses contribute to the income of the centre but cannot cover the full cost of basic infrastructure. Support someone to train to teach MBCT
There is much more demand for MBCT than there are mindfulness teachers trained to teach it. The OMC trains health professionals and others from all over the world in MBCT and other mindfulness-based therapies. It costs each trainee approximately £5000 to follow an internship training pathway and over £15000 to follow the Master of Studies pathway. While some students are sponsored by health trusts etc., there are potentially high quality students who cannot consider training without financial aid. The OMC provides financial assistance through a Bursary Fund to train Mindfulness teachers.
