Who am I?
I am a chartered and HCPC registered clinical psychologist, mindfulness teacher, supervisor, and trainer.
What do I do?
Most of my day job is as a Consultant Clinical psychologist working in adult mental health settings, mostly based within the community. As well as providing clinical work through direct therapy (both group and individual), I also provide supervision and training as well as managing various aspects of the service within which I work. Part of my role now includes providing and developing MBCT services for our local NHS Trust.
As an associate for the OMC I enjoy teaching classes for the general public and would like to extend my work as a supervisor and trainer with them, as time permits.
Why I love working at the OMC
My practice and training has grown within OMC from its early origins and it has come to represent for me a haven of hope and compassion. Oxford Mindfulness Centre combines the embodiment of mindfulness alongside high standards of scientific research, teaching and training. I feel privileged to be part of an organization that can make such a difference to people’s lives.
