Who am I?

I am an Oxford-based Mindfulness practitioner and teacher and former Buddhist nun. Before becoming a nun I qualified as a solicitor in the City of London.  I have been teaching MBSR/MBCT since 2010 and have also been trained and authorised to teach in the insight meditation tradition.

What do I do?

I teach MBCT and Mindful Self-Compassion to the general public and run a weekly insight meditation group in Oxford. I also teach insight meditation retreats at leading Buddhist retreat centres in the UK, USA and internationally. In 2010 I co-founded Go Mindfully, a mindfulness teaching partnership oriented towards building an on-going practice community supporting practice beyond the 8 week course through follow-up workshops and residential mindfulness retreats.

Why I love working at the OMC

I am delighted to be associated with a centre that is at the leading edge of mindfulness training and research, dedicated to bringing tools for genuine human flourishing into mainstream society. The friendliness and sincerity of all its staff makes the OMC a pleasure to work with.  As a graduate of Oxford University I am especially happy that this resource is now available to the people and students of Oxford.
