Who am I?

I have been at the Department of Psychiatry since June 2009. My previous roles have included a Research Project Administrator and Information Coordinator in which I provided support to researchers on various projects and trials and designed and managed bespoke research databases.

I am a qualified IT teacher and a data and systems analyst and I work 3 days a week in the Research and Development Department at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust, as the Case Record Interactive Search (CRIS) Coordinator, providing support to clinicians and researchers in the use of this system which pseudonymises Electronic Health Records (EHR), to be interrogated for research, audit and service evaluation purposes.

What do I do?

I am the coordinator of the Oslo in Oxford Exchange Scheme. I oversee and coordinate every aspect of the student’s visit, including their selection in collaboration with the allocated coordinator in Oslo. I provide students with pastoral care on a weekly basis, organise their academic supervision and visits whilst in Oxford, coordinate their participation in mindfulness groups and introduce the students to and liaise with the wider Department of Psychiatry. I coordinate the activities undertaken by the Oxford team in preparation for their visits to the Department of Psychology in Oslo where they offer teaching to support doctoral or clinical training as well as lectures offering research updates and developments within the field of experimental psychopathology.
