In July 2017 the MYRIAD research team was awarded a Wellcome Provision for Public Engagement grant to support the development and delivery of a programme of high quality public engagement activities and events. More details on the award can be found here: Wellcome Public Engagement award

The schools and young people participating in the MYRIAD randomised controlled trial will form the main target audience of this proposed work, although some activities may be designed to reach a broader audience. The overarching aim is to engage young people with the ongoing research programme, integrate their perspectives into the project, inspire an interest in psychological science, and especially the science of resilience, mental health and well-being. To help support and manage this work we are looking for an Educational Consultant(s). The appointed consultant(s) would have a leading role in planning, piloting, refining and managing the public engagement programme in collaboration with the research team, as well as in developing links with external organisations that are able to add value to the work.
