I’m a mindfulness teacher. I came across mindfulness through Buddhist meditation, and since 2005 I have done various long silent meditation retreats. I’m rooted in the Insight Meditation tradition where I continue my development as a practitioner. I’m participating in the teacher training programme with the Bodhi College.
After finishing my philosophy degree in 2007 I moved to the UK, where I am based since then. I am training to become a philosophical counsellor and I aim to use elements of the Western philosophical tradition that can complement mindfulness interventions.
I teach mindfulness courses for the general public, and have been teaching mindfulness retreats for Sharpham since 2015. For the OMC I teach the 5-day retreat, part of the Teacher Training Programme in MBCT for Latin American mental health professionals.
“I feel honoured being part of such an organisation that aspires to bring more consciousness to this world and to support people’s and humanity’s flourishing.“
