Sharon Grace Hadley

As Chief Executive Officer of Oxford Mindfulness, I work alongside the Chair of Trustees and leadership team to deliver our strategic vision and ensure that our global operations are aligned with the Charity’s Board-approved business plan. I lead business planning and organisational development across our programmes, with a focus on people, accessibility, impact, and financial sustainability.

A core part of my role involves leading a multidisciplinary team and coordinating work across a global network of teachers, partners and collaborators. I am passionate about people, supporting teams to grow, lead and collaborate effectively, and I work to create a culture of trust, care and clarity across everything we do.

With an Executive MBA focused on workplace sickness and a PhD in Health Economics researching the cost-effectiveness of mindfulness at work, I bring a strong evidence base to my leadership. I am a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management and remain committed to inclusive, strategic people leadership that supports wellbeing across diverse sectors and communities.

At Oxford Mindfulness, I feel privileged to work at the intersection of research, real-world application and system change, helping to make mindfulness both widely accessible and deeply relevant in people’s everyday lives.

“The sectors where I work and the people I engage with vary enormously but the common thread through it all is the vision of less suffering. Society as a whole is looking for solutions to the complex problems we a facing and the impact the changing world has on our mental health. I am proud to be part of teams that take this seriously and work with passion and drive to improve our lives.“
