About Affiliate Partnerships
Our Affiliate Partnership models enables people to access Oxford Mindfulness teaching and training in their own language, culture and time zone, supported by experienced local trainers who share our commitment to compassion, inclusivity and integrity.
Becoming an Affiliate Partner involves a thorough and carefully staged development pathway.
Trainers within the partner organisation complete extensive training with us, including supervised teaching practice, apprenticeship and co-training, before progressing to the point where they’re ready to deliver high quality teacher training programmes independently.
Throughout this process, the developing trainers are supported and evaluated by senior members of our training team, ensuring a robust approach to quality assurance.
How are Affiliate Partners approved?
Affiliate Partners are approved only when they can demonstrate that the experience offered to trainees is comparable to programmes delivered directly by us. They commit to ongoing supervision, continuing professional development, regular quality reviews and participation in our international training community. This ensures that all training delivered using the Oxford Mindfulness curriculum is current, research-informed and delivered to a professional standard that learners can trust.

Our commitment to global access
As part of our commitment to global access and fairness, we promote a Purchasing Power Parity approach when working outside the United Kingdom, meaning the cost of training and access to mindfulness resources can be adjusted to reflect the economic context of different regions. This supports inclusive access and reduces financial barriers. Combined with the Affiliate Partnership model, it enables us to work collaboratively with local leaders to better serve their communities.
This partnership approach creates long term sustainability and helps build capacity within local communities. It enables growth of compassionate, skilled and well-supported mindfulness teaching teams worldwide, and supports the global movement towards accessible, preventative mental health and workplace wellbeing.
“Partnerships are central to our mission. By working with trusted Affiliate Partners who commit to the highest standards of training and professional ethics, we can extend access to mindfulness in ways that are accessible, culturally relevant and sustainable. I am pleased to extend this structured affiliate model to others in the field and to collaborate with organisations who share our vision for global wellbeing.“
