Having been on a number of retreats and through my own personal experiences I came to realise how powerful Mindfulness can be for ones own wellbeing. By practising Mindfulness it enormously assisted me to focus, concentrate and slow my mind down. These are areas I previously struggled with especially in my early informative years. I found the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation (OMF) course deepened my knowledge and understanding of practice. It offered simple yet powerful tools to use in everyday situations that were both grounding and centring. I have spent over 35 years working in the care industry and have witnessed how powerful an impact Mindfulness can have in supporting care workers. By engaging in simple Mindful practices care workers are able to positively engage and change their approach to care for the benefit of all. I have a passion to support these workers and others working in busy and often stressful and time pressured environments.
