Supports mindfulness in daily life

Personal practice mentoring helps build continuity and confidence, enriching both formal meditation and moment-to-moment awareness in everyday life.

One-to-one or group mentoring – which is right for me?

Our new mentoring sessions are a response to the need for more support with mindfulness practice and learning. They’re led by an experienced member of our team to explore questions, challenges and aspirations with care and understanding. Sessions are shaped around the individual or group, recognising the diversity of backgrounds, goals and life circumstances present within our community.

One-to-one personal practice mentoring sessions are designed for anyone wishing to receive individual support with their mindfulness practice, offering dedicated time to explore your experience in more depth – whether you are beginning, returning after time away, or looking to strengthen and sustain a long term practice.

These sessions provide space to reflect on what feels helpful and what feels more challenging, to ask questions and explore themes that may not arise as easily in group settings. People sometimes come to mentoring seeking support with motivation or routine, understanding particular practices more clearly, or finding ways to weave mindfulness into daily life in a realistic and compassionate way.

Personal practice mentoring can also offer guidance in navigating periods of difficulty, uncertainty or transition, and can be a steadying place for reflection and support over time. The pace, content and focus of sessions are shaped collaboratively and respectfully, in response to each person’s needs, interests and intentions.

Group personal practice mentoring sessions are designed for teams or community groups wishing to receive shared support and guidance in their mindfulness practice, within a small, collaborative space.

In a group setting, you’ll have space to reflect on what feels helpful and what feels more challenging, to ask questions, and to learn from themes that arise collectively. People often join group mentoring to gain fresh perspectives, share insights, and feel supported in maintaining motivation and routine, understanding particular practices more clearly, or finding ways to weave mindfulness into daily life in a realistic and compassionate way.

Group mentoring can provide guidance during periods of difficulty, uncertainty, or transition, offering a steadying place for reflection and shared learning over time. The pace, content, and focus of sessions are shaped collaboratively and respectfully, responding to the needs, interests, and intentions of the group as well as each individual within it.

Our professional mentoring sessions are launching soon for mindfulness teachers and others beginning to work in the field who would value support in establishing themselves professionally. This type of mentoring offers space to explore areas such as developing confidence as a new teacher, shaping offerings, understanding different settings in which mindfulness is taught, thinking through business or organisational considerations, marketing approaches and practical next steps.

Professional mentoring is also available for individuals in organisations who are exploring whether and how mindfulness might be integrated into workplace well-being or leadership programmes. These sessions provide space to ask questions, sense check ideas, explore possibilities and build clearer understanding to support their own business cases. Offered as a supportive thinking space rather than a route into formal partnership or delivery.

Sessions are offered by senior colleagues with real world experience supporting teachers, building programmes and working in partnerships across charity, public sector and commercial environments. The focus is supportive and exploratory, tailored to the needs and interests of the person attending.
