My name is Julie. I am French, but I’ve been living in Singapore for more than 10 years now. After 15 years of working in the corporate world, mainly as a business consultant, I became a yoga teacher and am currently pursuing studies in Psychology. I am particularly interested in three topics: the connection between yoga and psychology, preparing for aging well, and supporting better stress and anxiety management for those facing these challenges. Interested in science-based well-being techniques, I found that mindfulness brought me many benefits and became an important part of my life. For example mindfulness has been a great support in helping me manage my unhelpful tendency to overthink or ruminate. That’s why I am very happy today to teach the Introducing Mindfulness course, helping people gain a clearer understanding of what mindfulness really is and offering them simple, practical tools to support them in their daily lives. What I particularly enjoy about teaching this course is the shared “human” experience that naturally emerges throughout the sessions.
