About me

I am a psychologist and mindfulness teacher with a passion for the transformative potential of mindfulness in promoting health, well-being, and flourishing. I am based in Madrid, where I conduct mindfulness programs for the community at ABM (Bipolar Association of Madrid) and teach the Deepening in Mindfulness Program at the Nirakara Institute of Research and Training in Cognitive Science. Part of my work is focused on spreading the benefits of mindfulness in Peru, my home country. I have conducted workshops for both students and healthcare professionals at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, and I have also collaborated in organizing conferences and workshops at various universities in Lima. I offer individual and group courses, workshops, and practice sessions for the general public as well as professionals in healthcare, education, and various workplace settings, both online and in person. I am a meditator, and my teaching training has been enriched through participation in additional mindfulness-focused programs, which include: training in the integration of mindfulness and psychotherapy for mental health professionals at the Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy (IMP). Training in recognizing and supporting trauma recovery through Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness (TSM) with David Treleaven. Facilitating mindfulness in workplace settings, provided by the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation’s program titled Mindfulness: Teaching in the Workplace. Training in Mindful Leadership at the Spirit Rock Meditation Center. Engagement in Contemplative Sciences with Venerable Bhikkhu Analayo, offered by the University of Zaragoza. Ongoing training in Mindfulness and Body Work with Gustavo Diex at Nirakara Institute in Madrid.
