I work as head of research, evaluation and development at training and consulting company Awaris. Before that, I held research positions as a doctoral researcher at Leuphana University, Lüneburg and Amherst College, M.A. and as a post-doctoral researcher at Radboud University, Nijmegen. In my research, I am mainly interested in the impact of mindfulness-based training on the way we work and lead others. I am also a senior lecturer for student teachers at Leuphana University, Lüneburg.
My interest in this field of research was sparked by my personal practice of meditation and yoga. I am certified to teach MBSR and .b foundations for teachers. I offered mindfulness-based trainings in educational and clinical settings in London and Germany. After five years abroad, I now live with my family in Hamburg, Germany.
