I’m a teacher and teacher trainer of MBSR and MBCT-L, based in Seoul, Korea. Thanks to my long-standing interest in meditation and my doctoral studies in transformative learning at Teachers College, Columbia University, I was attracted to the MBSR/MBCT family. It was my joy and honour to work with MBI teachers worldwide and bring these evidence-based mindfulness programs into the Korean mainstream society.
In addition to training and supervising MBSR and MBCT-L teachers, I founded the Korea Mindbody Healing Association and the Korea Center for Mindfulness (KCFM). I serve as a Managing Director for the Global Mindfulness Collaborative (GMC). I feel incredibly fortunate to be involved in learning mindfulness from many experienced teachers and teaching others in the hope of easing individual and collective suffering.
“Oxford Mindfulness’ role in spreading mindfulness across the globe continues to grow and it is my privilege to be part of this transformative mindfulness community.“
