Zeynep Ağacıkoğlu

I’m a mindfulness and yoga teacher with a product design background. My journey with meditation and yoga began in 2009 in Bangladesh, sparking a lifelong interest in the interplay of physical and mental well-being.

I have a special interest in trauma and mindfulness and have had the opportunity to study with renowned experts David Treleaven and Bessel van der Kolk. Additionally, I’m a trained trauma-informed yoga teacher. This specialised training enables me to better support individuals through mindful and compassionate practices.

As an expat who frequently relocates to different countries, I have first-hand experience with the challenges and opportunities that come with adapting to new environments. This personal journey inspired my master’s project on design, which focused on expat adaptation at HSLU, Switzerland.

My research and experiences have deepened my understanding of how mindfulness can support expats during their transitions, helping them navigate and thrive in their new surroundings.

I offer mindfulness courses, meditation sessions, and supervision in both Turkish and English, sharing my insights and techniques to foster mindfulness and well-being in diverse communities.

“In the flow of constant change, I embrace mindfulness and compassion as guiding forces, helping us thrive and heal, no matter where life takes us.”
