Between the Lines is an online series that brings the mindfulness community together to explore books, papers, articles and other resources which have shaped mindfulness thinking and practice.
Each resource is explored across two online sessions held within the same month. The first session is a facilitated community discussion, offering space to reflect on the reading, share what stood out, and explore questions together. Themes and questions from this session are gathered and then carried into a second session, which is a live conversation with the author.
This session explores the book Mindful Self-Compassion for Burnout: Tools to Help You Heal and Recharge When You’re Wrung Out by Stress’ with a community session on Wednesday 18th February 2026 and an author session on Wednesday 25th February with Kristin Neff.
Both sessions will be 15:00 – 15:45 (UK time).
It is beneficial but not essential that you join both sessions.
This event is included, at no extra cost, as part of the Oxford Mindfulness Members’ Programme. Non–members are welcome to join the event for a small admin fee.
Please note: Community sessions are designed to be interactive and so recordings will not be available afterwards. We warmly encourage you to join live and keep your camera on where possible to support a collaborative and connected experience. Author sessions may be recorded.
