The Mindful Mile Oxford, UK
On Tuesday June 3rd, 2025 we’re introducing our very first ‘Mindful Mile’ fundraising event in Oxford to support our mission to increase access to mindfulness training, helping people achieve greater well-being and improved mental health.
Join us as we walk to raise funds with the first mile walked together, mindfully. You’re invited to join us for the whole walk, part of the route or to come along for the initial mile. The exact route will be confirmed soon.

About this fundraiser
On Tuesday June 3, 2025 we’re introducing our very first ‘Mindful Mile’ Oxford fundraising events to support our mission to increase access to mindfulness training, helping people achieve greater well-being and improved mental health.
Our inaugural event is taking place in the beautiful City of Oxford in the UK, famous for its history, cathedral and, of course, the university.
We’ll gather at 8am to start the walk and the invitation is to walk together mindfully perhaps by paying attention to the physical sensations as you walk or by taking in the surroundings of a beautiful university park.
More details about the location of the walk will be shared soon but we hope you’ll support us by joining the event and help make it an annual occasion where we can come together, practise mindful walking and support positive mental health and well-being.
Please note, there is a £10 registration fee which will be put towards the total fundraising efforts for the walk.

Our hope is that the Mindful Mile will become an annual event in May / June in locations across the globe, with all who participate walking the first mile mindfully. Whether you’re planning a single mindful mile or more, would like to walk alone or invite a community to walk with you, we’d love for you to get involved!

We were delighted to see mindful walking being highlighted in the Guardian.
The article, “How to walk your way to better health: five simple tips to supercharge your stroll and transform your wellbeing” notes:
“Research has shown that people who regularly practised mindful walking for a month saw reductions in their stress levels, as well as improved mood and overall mental health.”
The piece references a study ‘Mindful walking in psychologically distressed individuals: a randomized controlled trial’ that concludes ‘Patients participating in a mindful walking program showed reduced psychological stress symptoms and improved quality of life compared to no study intervention.’
