We’re making some necessary and important updates to our live online meditation sessions. Whether you’re already part of this supportive community or are considering joining these sessions to support your mindfulness practice, I invite you to take a few moments to read the following information.
For several years, we’ve been offering weekday mindfulness sessions and it continues to warm our hearts to know that many join us regularly, while others participate as schedules allow.
Our community is known for its kindness, care, and support, and we’re committed to maintaining these values.
To ensure the sessions are of the highest quality, they’re led by fully trained mindfulness teachers and we compensate them for their time. We also have team members ready to step in if a teacher is unexpectedly unavailable, and volunteers are present at each session to handle technical issues and to support the teacher.
As I’m sure you’ll appreciate, making this all work smoothly every day takes considerable resources.
Many of you in the community generously donate when you first register, and we are most grateful for this kind support, however these one-off contributions don’t fully cover the ongoing costs of offering sessions twice a day, every weekday, throughout the year.
We also know that not all of you who registered still attend the daily sessions.
So, with the aims of strengthening our connection with active members and ensuring the financial sustainability of these sessions, we’re moving to a quarterly registration system with a suggested donation for each period.
Changes from 1 May 2025
Starting from 1 May 2025, registration for the sessions will be divided into four quarters:
- Quarter 1: 1 April – 30 June (in 2025, these changes take effect from 1 May with a reduced suggested donation amount to reflect the shorter period)
- Quarter 2: 1 July – 30 September
- Quarter 3: 1 October – 31 December
- Quarter 4: 1 January – 31 March
How It Works
- Registration: At the start of each quarter, you’ll need to register to receive a new Zoom link for that quarter’s sessions.
- Frequency: There is also the option to register on an annual basis. You can do this by registering in the current quarter and choosing the annual option.
- Process: We’ve simplified the registration forms to make the process as quick and easy as possible for you.
We deeply appreciate your continued engagement with us and the support offered to our charitable mission, whether through our online meditation sessions or other events we offer. Your participation and support are vital to our mission of promoting mindfulness and well-being.
