We’re delighted that our 8-week Mindfulness for Life course (sometimes known as MBCT-L) has been approved through the British Psychological Society (BPS) CPD Quality Mark Scheme for the purposes of continuing professional development. You’ll now see the BPS Quality Mark logo on our Mindfulness for Life programmes.
What does this mean?
It means the BPS has recognised Mindfulness for Life as a high-quality CPD activity – one that meets their high standards for professional development and aligns with the interests of their members. This includes Chartered Psychologists, those in training, the wider psychological workforce, and anyone with a professional or personal interest in psychology.
Mindfulness for Life is designed as a personal learning course, open to anyone interested in cultivating mindfulness to support their mental health and overall well-being. Many participants find the course so impactful that they choose to continue their journey – training to teach mindfulness and sharing its benefits in their communities and professional settings.
As a prerequisite for our 12-month teacher training programme, we’re especially pleased that Mindfulness for Life has now been formally recognised as also supporting professional development to a high standard.
