About the event

Welcome to the Oxford Mindfulness Member Exchange. Offered exclusively to our Personal Learner Member community, this is a collaborative space where your experience takes centre stage. Hosted by OMF trainers, these sessions are designed for Personal Learner members to share and learn from one another and Trainers.  

This is your platform to discuss the topics that matter most to you. We invite you to bring your insights, troubleshoot challenges, and grow alongside a dedicated community of peers.  

The Exchange is designed to be supportive, professional, and vibrant—a place where every voice helps us develop our skills and strengthen the mindfulness community.  

This is an interactive, online, 1.5-hour workshop which includes small group discussions and an opportunity for Q&A with Oxford Mindfulness Trainers 

It’s been created for mindfulness teachers across the field. 

A Typical Session (90 Minutes + 30 Minutes optional Networking) 

  • Welcome & Connection: Welcome, introductions, and a brief grounding sit to start the session. 
  • Topic Launch: OMF Facilitator shares/ invites themes for the day  
  • Collaborative Discussion: Move into breakout rooms for focused discussions around specific questions. 
  • Group Synthesis & Q&A: Share insights and feedback from breakouts, followed by an open Q&A session. 
  • Integration & Closing: Capture key takeaways and finish with a summary and closing sit. 
  • Resources: Links to relevant / potentially helpful additional resources made available. 
  • Future sessions: Invitations for potential future themes 
  • Optional Networking: The room remains open afterwards to facilitate further discussion and connection with peers (30 mins). 

This event is included, at no extra cost, as part of the Oxford Mindfulness Members’ Programme.

Please note: These sessions are normally designed to be interactive and so recordings will not be available afterwards. We warmly encourage you to join live and keep your camera on where possible to support a collaborative and connected experience. Where available, presentation materials such as slides will be shared with those who attended after the event so you can revisit key point

What to expect from this event

By taking part, you support your own professional growth and help others to do the same. These sessions also support you to meet the Good Practice Guidelines (GPGs) for mindfulness teachers

  • Practical Takeaways: Leave with strategies, resources, and ideas you can use in your teaching right away. 
  • Participant-Led Topics: Tell us what you want to discuss on your event registration form, and we will do our best to include it. 
Entry criteria: who can apply for this course?

The Teacher Exchange is offered exclusively to our Trained Teacher members to engage with each other and the Oxford Mindfulness Trainers and support their Continuous Professional Development. 
Please note: We know that sometimes life happens! If your plans change and you can no longer make this event, as places are limited, we ask that where possible you advise us 48 hours in advance so we can offer your place to another participant and transfer you to a future event. For members, your registration to this event will count towards your membership allowance.
