In this 3-hour session, specifically for trained mindfulness teachers, Ruth will present a curated collection of key mindfulness research including an exploration of current themes, sharing her invaluable insights along the way.
The workshop will include the opportunity for you to engage with each other in breakout sessions and explore how these research findings may inform our teaching and practice. There’ll also be time to share breakout room discussions and a Q&A session with Ruth.
This workshop supports you to meet the British-Association of Mindfulness-based Approaches (BAMBA) Good Practice Guidelines for Teaching Mindfulness-based Programmes including:
- Connection with other mindfulness teachers to share experiences and learn collaboratively
- A commitment to continuous professional development as a teacher through further training
This event is included, at no extra cost, as part of the new Oxford Mindfulness Members’ Programme. Non–members are welcome to join the event at the relevant fee band.
If you’re not a trained teacher, you may be interested to note there will be a Research Update from Ruth especially for personal learners – view the event.
Entry criteria
This session is open to all mindfulness teachers looking to understand the evidence base or who are simply curious about the latest research. The workshop has been crafted to enhance your understanding of the evidence that underpins the courses that we teach.
Please note: These sessions are normally designed to be interactive and so recordings will not be available afterwards. We warmly encourage you to join live and keep your camera on where possible to support a collaborative and connected experience. Where available, presentation materials such as slides will be shared with those who attended after the event so you can revisit key points.
