Mindfully Navigating Social Media – Fostering Wellbeing Online for Mindfulness Teachers

Would you like to use social media for your mindfulness teaching, but aren’t sure which channels to use? Or perhaps you’re using social platforms, but aren’t getting the visibility you’d like? Perhaps you’re wondering how you can use social media responsibly, aligned with your values?

About the event

With a bewildering number of social media outlets, it can be difficult to integrate it with your mindfulness teaching in a way that helps you and your participants.

And so, we’re delighted to offer you this 2.5-hour workshop, led by content creator, mindfulness leader and speaker, Ted Meissner, to explore different platforms, their benefits, and potential drawbacks.

Over the course of this interactive session, you’ll learn how to determine the best fit for your needs, and how your time online can enhance engagement, increasing your visibility and impact.

You’ll be guided through some of the opportunities as well as some of the challenges with social media, choices about platforms, and be given best practice recommendations.

At the end of the workshop, you’ll have the information you need to build your social media presence with more clarity and confidence.

Please note: This event is included as part of the new Oxford Mindfulness Members’ Programme. Non–members are welcome to join the event at the relevant fee band.

Mindfulness practitioners may be interested to note there will be a separate workshop on the same topic by Ted – view the event.
